Good drive! Functions excellent in my PS3 and now I never have to be concerned about operating out of space. My old drive was a 40 gb and it seemed the program took up the majority of that. Now I’ve about thirty games installed with all of the net add ons and still have about 400 gb of totally free space. I can now add all my music and various movies if I want…adore it!
But do not let the install guides fool you, it truly is nonetheless a bit of an effort to acquire the drive formatted correctly. I had to possess a personal computer service do it, either that or buy an external hard drive which I did not need to have. Then I had to utilize a separate set of instructions to set up the drive. Not as cut and dry as all the on the net directions indicated. When you are not fantastic at computer system tech stuff like me, then you will need to have support for positive!
But bottom line, the drive is great! 500 gb could be the max that the PS3 will recognize and it functions great, I couldn’t ask for improved. For efficiency and functionality, I give it 5 stars.
